Located in the shade of a sizable old oak, this classic home in Avalon is Outer Banks living as it was meant to be. Walk less than a mile to the beach each morning, and catch amazing sunsets on the soundfront down the street.

Avalon is a excellent area of Kill Devil Hills for beach-goers, anglers, families, and groups of friends. This prime location is only a quarter-mile from a public boat ramp on the sound - a great spot for launching kayaks and gathering at sunset each evening. You'll also be just over half a mile from a lifeguarded beach access point, one mile from the Avalon Fishing Pier, and close to a variety of fashionable eateries, seafood shacks, bars, and breweries.

The home's outdoor spaces are casual and fun, offering a calming respite after a day spent at the beach. Rinse off in the outdoor shower, indulge in an afternoon nap in the shaded hammock, and gather on the huge elevated deck for cold drinks in the warm sunshine.

As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a cool blast of central air and wood-paneled walls that bring to mind your favorite childhood vacations. At the heart of the home is an open living area, offering a well-equipped kitchen, an adjacent dining room, and a sitting room where you can watch movies on cable and streaming.
