Summary:
Bring the group together and experience beach living in this 5-bed, 3.5-bath Kill Devil Hills home which has roomy living areas, modern kitchen, and private fenced backyard. This home is ideal for close gatherings and relaxation. In addition to multiple calming outdoor spaces this home comes with exclusive Country Club access just a 10 min. drive from the home. The club amenities include a beachside pool, day camps for kids, as well as tennis and water aerobics.

The Space:
Your Sojourn home is equipped with wood floors and carpet throughout. On the first floor, there is 1 bedroom on with a full an ensuite bathroom. Outside, there is a shower.

On the 2nd Floor there is a 1/2 bathroom, a laundry room, a den, and kitchen.

On the 3rd Floor there are 4 Bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. One bathroom is attached to the primary suite and one bathroom is in the hallway. The 4th Bedroom has 2 twin beds. *Note* There is no closet in the 4th bedroom with the twin sized beds.

There is a propane grille available for your use.

Our home is contactless seamless and simple self check in. A code will be set for you and shared 48 hours before your arrival. At Sojourn we take your happiness and comfort seriously. Kill Devil Hills, located on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, epitomizes coastal appeal with its pristine beaches, rich history, and vibrant community. Feel the broad stretches of sandy shoreline along the Atlantic Ocean. Kill Devil Hills is a haven for beachgoers, surfers, and sun-seekers.

The area is steeped in aviation history, being the site of the Wright Brothers' first powered flight, commemorated by the iconic Wright Brothers National Memorial. Beyond its historical significance, Kill Devil Hills offers a plethora of outdoor activities, from exploring maritime forests in Nags Head Woods Ecological Preserve to indulging in water sports like kayaking and kiteboarding.

With its welcoming ambiance, cozy stores, and delectable seafood eateries, Kill Devil Hills embodies the ideal coastal hideaway, inviting visitors to relax and immerse themselves in its laid-back oceanside ambiance.

Getting Around:
The best way to get around this area is to have a car. There are ample parking options available at most attractions, beaches, and businesses.

Other Things to Note:
We are looking forward to hosting you but there are a few things you need to do in order to make sure that you, and all of our guests, are safe and that everybody can appreciate their respective stays! This message also includes other useful information about family pets, infant gear and parking:

1) Our properties are protected by Truvi. Please note that if you book a short-term rental (under 30 days), you will be contacted by Truvi directly to verify yourself. Please make sure this is finished prior to check-in.

2) Please confirm that you accept the following House Rules and Responsibilities on behalf of yourself and guests. A violation of the House Rules can result in an immediate termination of your reservation without refund.

For the comfort of our guests, residents and members of the Sojourn team, smoking of any kind (marijuana, cigarettes, or vaping) is not allowed anywhere in the interior of our building or within fifty (50) feet of our building, including outdoor spaces. Should our team or neighbors report the odor of smoke we will contact the booking service, terminate your stay, claim any and all damages, including but not limited to a $500 smoking fee, and post the appropriate review.

Parties and events are stringently prohibited. All Sojourn homes are equipped with noise monitoring devices (decibel readers), your privacy is safe however, noise levels exceeding normal levels are grounds for ending your stay and are stringently enforced. In the event we are notified of any excess noise, music, gathering or events a Sojourn representative will respond and your reservation will be terminated without refund. Please also note that all Sojourn buildings and homes are equipped with some type of exterior camera that records the exterior and common areas to include all entries to the building.

What NOT to Flush Down the Toilet or put down drains or in the garbage disposal - If found that these cause plumbing issues Sojourn can and will charge the guest.

* Cooking Grease/Food/Coffee grinds should never be poured down any drain, period.
* Feminine Products. Tampons and other feminine hygiene products are not supposed to be flushed down the toilet.
* Infant Wipes/Wet Wipes/Cleaning Pads

* Q-tips/Cotton Balls
* Diapers
* Pills
* Paper Towels/Tissues

3) While this home is not pet friendly, we might have other homes available that welcome your pets and suit your needs. Please reach out the Sojourn Guest Services Team for more information.

4) We are happy to provide both a Pack and Play and/or high chair. These must be reserved in advance and a $25 rental fee will be charged.

5) There is complimentary parking in the driveway.

Please note that neither Sojourn nor the property owner shall be held liable for any loss, theft, damage, or injury to the car or any personal property therein, nor for any injury to the driver, passengers, or any other person, arising out of or in connection with the use of the parking space. Any use of the parking space is at the sole risk of the car owner or driver. Neither Sojourn nor the owner guarantee the safety or security of any car parked in the parking space and disclaims any responsibility for any acts of theft, vandalism, or other criminal activity.

6) This home comes with access to an exclusive country club. The country club has amenities including access to a beachside pool which is open 7 days a week, kid care, tennis courts, and more. There is an additional charge of $175 to obtain access to the club for to 7 days. Please reach out to Sojourn's Guest Services Team in advance if you would like to sign up for the country club access.

7) There may be times where the home needs unexpected, or scheduled preventative maintenance. While we do our best not to interrupt your stay with us, sometimes this cannot be avoided thus Sojourn reserves the right to gain access to the properties at any time, after providing our guests with 24 hour written notice.

8) The fireplace is functional.

Located in Kill Devil Hills, this property is near the beach. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Outer Banks Beaches and Kitty Hawk Woods Reserve, while Glazin' Go-Nuts and Wright Brothers National Memorial are cultural highlights. Paradise Fun Park and Children at Play Museum are also worth visiting.

Finding the best rental value:

  • Summer months are high season in the Kill Devil Hills area. To find the best vacation home within your budget, we highly recommend booking in Fall or Spring months. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at the beach and popular attractions. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Kill Devil Hills vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • The earlier you can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are reserved early. Reserving your vacation home 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your rental home.
  • Property managers sometimes offer rate reductions for veterans. Ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your family.
  • Property management companies usually offer their guests an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gas expenses.
