Very clean 4 bedroom and 3 full bath Beach House with plenty of entertainment spaces. 3 min. drive to the beach!

New Trex Deck and stairs.

Linens and Bath Towels are supplied.

Great location near Milepost 6.5, close to eateries and grocery stores and the Avalon Pier. Walk or bicycle to the sound to savor the striking sunsets (our personal favorite!)

The home is also setup with toilet paper and paper towels to get you through your first nighttime or couple of days. For longer stays it may be necessary to purchase some during your stay.

Spaces include: 4 sizable bedrooms, your very own Tiki Bar and big screen TV in the garage for the ideal hangout when you get back from the beach, two living rooms (one upstairs and one downstairs), and a back yard for yard games. Don't forget the outdoor shower, so you can shower off after a day at the beach!

There are 4 bicycles also available for use in the garage. (2 adult bicycles and 2 kids bicycles).

Upon checkout we ask that you please strip bed sheets and towels at the end of your stay and place them into trash bags and leave at the laundry room. This is so our cleaners can wash and sanitize without contact.

Strategies to get the best vacation property experience:

Getting the most from your spending budget:

  • Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer months are high season in Kill Devil Hills. To find the best value, shift your vacation dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer excellent temperatures, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic.
  • Hosts sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for details.
  • Look for your local Kill Devil Hills visitors guide magazine when you check-in. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, travel guides have money saving offers on local attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.

Selecting and booking the rightrental home:

  • To start, have your family commit to date ranges and a max budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your family needs. Pet Friendly Home with Private Tiki Bar - 3-minute drive to the beach! has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Kill Devil Hills vacation rental search.
  • Precise information about bedrooms and bed counts is regularly accessible on booking websites. If not, email or call the property management company before reserving the rental. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds and bunks.
  • If your group is bringing pets, you must book a pet-friendly rental. Ask for specifics on breed, weight, and type requirements. Often, hosts charge pet deposits and fees.
  • Visiting for a specific event or attraction? Use a map search to locate nearby properties.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. .

More tips for your stay:

  • Get the property manager's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your rental property. Put the manager's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, television set or thermostat. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent many problems.
  • Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your things!) by locking the rental when you are away, just like you would at home.
  • Make a record of any damages to the property at check in, and immediately e-mail them to the property manager. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that can be valuable if damages are attributed to your stay.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are usually an excellent source for finding the best local spots.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all personal belongings. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the rental one final time and look for any damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager isn't available, remember to take pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your group have a excellent time? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide comments. If your rental property and/or host was great, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was wrong and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
