Located in Kill Devil Hills - the center of the Outer Banks. A terrific family getaway home! Appreciate many amenities of this cavernous and comfortable home with huge kitchen, dining & living room with tons of outdoor space~side yard & porches, gas grille, cornhole & outdoor shower. 0.7 mile drive to beach and short walk to Nags Head Reserve & sound. Savor peaceful dinners on your screened in porch or side deck. Host resides in downstairs & is often away. Come make OBX memories at the Holly House!
The space
Ideal family getaway sleeps 5 ~1 twin over full bed & 1 queen~ Cavernous 2 ensuite bedrooms (tv in Queen room) with sizable baths, living room with enormous TV, dining room and outfitted kitchen to prepare your favorite meal. Enjoy an outdoor shower after the beach, or a drink on porch or deck while grilling your dinner. Turnover costs include comfortable linens, linens, bath & beach towels. Access to washer as well.
Guest access
Guests will access home via front side stairs. You will have the entire space on 2nd level, side front yard, screened porch, side deck and outdoor shower. 2 parking spaces supplied for average size cars.
Other things to note
Home is for families and not suited for events or events. Home is in peaceful neighborhood... please be respectful. Come appreciate a memorable vacay with your family. Please see my Guidebook for adventures and possible reservations. Host is happy to answer any questions prior or during your stay. Host has a sweet dog that has access to back yard. Guest can savor side yard but no access to back yard.

Jennette's Pier and Destination Fun are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Stop-N-Shop Beach Shop and Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf.   • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Kill Devil Hills area. Booking your Kill Devil Hills vacation home in the Fall or Spring is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer months.
  • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.

  • Just prior to departing, take a walk-through to make sure you did not forget anything. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your group have a great time? Most rental websites make it easy for vacationers to provide comments. If your rental and/or property manager was great, they would love to hear about it. If anything was out of order and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
