Three bedroom, two bath home located in the heart of Kill Devil Hills. Featuring Sunday check in and check out - skip the Saturday traffic! This home is our little sanctuary on the sound side of the OBX. A 2 min. drive to the beach! From rocking chairs on the front porch to outdoor furnishings and a swing downstairs on the carport area, there's room for everybody to find their own little corner for solitude or gather together for a homestyle happy hour.

We installed brand new floor throughout the home in 2022, eliminating all of the carpet on the main level. It looks and feels great!

There are 2 beach chairs and numerous body boards/skim boards available for use during your stay.

Please read rules for our home rental before reserving. We do require a minimum age of 25 to rent. We do require an ID check. We require the person renting our home be present in our home for the duration of the rental period. (I.e. Parents reserving our home on behalf of underage kids and not being present will result in cancellation of reservation. This can result in removal from our home if discovered during the rental period and there will be no refunds issued.)

About the Area

Located in Kill Devil Hills, this vacation home is by the sea. Jennette's Pier and Avalon Fishing Pier are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Outer Banks Beaches and Nags Head Woods Preserve. Paradise Fun Park and Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf are also worth visiting.

  • To get the largest rental home for your budget, we strongly suggest booking in the Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular attractions and restaurants.
  • Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer vacations during Winter holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.

  • When it's time to leave, complete a final walk-through to make sure you haven't leave anything behind. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Remember to leave a review! Property managers rely on great reviews to inspire future reservations. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationing families will appreciate that you share your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to solve it.
