Ideal modest family OBX beach box with walkable public beach access (700ft to Sutton Avenue Public Beach Access). Families and groups will appreciate the close proximity to the beach and surrounding amenities.

Fresh linens and towels are supplied. Beds will be made when you arrive!

Two levels:
Downstairs - Guests will enter into a private living area with a huge sectional and TV connecting with a kitchen area and a full bathroom. Off to the left is a bedroom with a queen bed. Downstairs also offers a separate gathering area with laundry, refrigerator, beach supplies.
Upstairs - Guests will access the main living area through a side door and/or sliding door from the upper deck. Upstairs and Downstairs do not connect via an interior staircase.
The main hall connects three bedrooms (twin bunk beds, queen, and queen with private bathroom) and a hallway bathroom. The kitchen is entirely outfitted with all the essential amenities.

Outdoor area includes enclosed outdoor shower, fire pit, and fenced backyard.

The property is furnished and includes linens and towels - linens for 3 queens and 2 twin beds (bunk bed), bath towels for 8 occupants, 1 floor mat per bathroom, 2 hand towels per bathroom, and 3 kitchen towels. Fitted sheets, flat sheets, pillow cases are laundered in between stays.

A starter supply of household cleaning and hygiene products will be supplied including: starter roll of paper towels, toilet paper in all bathrooms, laundry detergent, hand soap, dish soap, and dishwasher pods. Additional laundry products, cleaning products, and paper products are not furnished. Tenant is responsible for purchasing any additional supplies and all food and beverages.

Access to streaming services through ROKU TVs. There are two (2) ROKU TVs and two (2) ROKU remotes included – one upstairs and one downstairs. Tenant(s) will have access to complimentary ROKU apps and subscription apps like HULU, YouTube TV, Netflix, Pandora, etc. Guests must use their own accounts for subscription services. ROKU Guest Mode will automatically log users out of accounts upon Check-Out Date.

About the Area

Located in Kill Devil Hills, this vacation home is near the beach. Wright Brothers National Memorial and Roanoke Marshes Lighthouse are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include Stop-N-Shop Beach Shop and Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf. Traveling with kids? Consider Destination Fun and Paradise Fun Park. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Getting the best value:

  • Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. To get the largest vacation home within your budget, we highly recommend reserving in Fall or Spring months. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at the beach and popular attractions. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August.
  • Property managers sometimes offer promotional rates for veterans. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your family before you book.
  • Property managers usually offer customers an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.

  • To ensure that damages are not attributed to your stay, make note of any problem areas upon check in. text the rental manager immediately to document any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You'll magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often a terrific source for finding the best local beaches and hangouts.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
