Watching the sunrise over the Atlantic, feeling the ocean breeze, and hearing waves breaking against the beach all help melt away your everyday stresses. Savor your morning coffee on the oceanfront deck while watching dolphins and seabirds along the shore. The open concept of the living, dining, and kitchen makes it simple to watch TV, prepare meals and dine together. Unwind in the evening in the king bedroom and a queen sleep couch in the living area provides an additional bed if needed.

Community Conveniences: Appreciate the amenities of the First Flight Retreat with a community pool, oceanfront deck, and boardwalk ramp to the beach, exercise center, BBQ grilling & picnic area, elevators, and covered parking spaces for two cars.

Exploring Kill Devil Hills: Take time to venture out and experience all the Outer Banks has to offer with our favorite local eateries, unique stores, and the many historical sites, museums, lighthouses, and outdoor activities.

Beach Access: Private to the community, guests can use the walkway directly behind the building.

No Smoking/Vaping, First Flight Retreat is a non-smoking facility. Smoking is not allowed in units or common areas. No Family Animals.

All reservations are offered to purchase travel insurance for an additional 7.75% of your rent and taxes. Please refer to the rental agreement you will be signing to accept or decline this coverage as your refund in the time of cancellation will be dependent on your acceptance in most situations. All guests must sign and return a rental agreement before reservations are confirmed. Payment for travel insurance, if accepted, will be processed upon receipt of this signed agreement.

Standard cancellation policy is: CANCELLATION POLICY and SUBSTITUTIONS - Any changes, including changing dates, switching of properties, or complete cancellations will invoke the cancellation policy. Agent recommends all Renters purchase travel insurance offered at time of booking to protect them in the event of an unexpected event affecting their vacation. Agent cannot offer future credits or immediate refunds for unexpected cancellations due to emergencies regardless of the situation, including but not limited to weather events and acts of God, unexpected illnesses, injury or death, changing of plans, or job loss. Please do not ask. All cancellations are subject to a fifty dollar ($50.00) cancellation fee. Cancellations must be submitted to Agent in writing (e-mail is acceptable). In the event of cancellation, no refund of monies paid will be made unless the Property is re-rented for the same price and time period of this original vacation rental agreement. If the Property is re-rented for a lesser price or time period, the original Tenant will receive a refund for the difference between the originally agreed upon rental amount and the rebooked rental amount as Owner is entitled to receive the full amount of the original rental agreement. Agent will make every effort to re-rent the Property at the full amount. Tenant acknowledges that Agent has full discretion on negotiating rental prices in an effort to get the Property re-rented and make the Owner whole, while also attempting to get the Tenant the highest refund possible.
