With ample entertainment options, fourteen en-suites, and amenities that allow for plenty of outdoor and indoor recreation, everybody will be sure to have a fun and calming hideaway in the OBX. Awesome ocean vistas from the great room, dining space for everybody, and the chefs in your group will appreciate the modren, broad kitchen with a six-burner gas stove, two ovens, and a butler's pantry.
The pub, rec room, and theater room will offer great indoor activities and for outdoor fun head to the pool area where you can float in the pool (pool heat can be added for an additional fee), relax in two hot tubs and a cabana that offers a sitting area, full-sized refrigerator to keep snacks and beverages close by and a cooktop. The elevator access makes it painless to move from each level and bring in groceries and bags. Take advantage of the cavernous decks to catch some rays and gaze at the ocean and appreciate the salty air and ocean breeze.
NCDOT operates three stormwater ocean outfalls in the Town of Kill Devil Hills. These stormwater outfalls were installed in the early 1960s. They allow rainwater to drain away from the lower areas between the highways of U.S. 158 and N.C. 12, which assists with flood prevention. (See photo gallery) The town recommends not swimming within 200 ft of this pipe.The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality regularly monitors the outfall sites and collects water samples to ensure there are no contaminants that would threaten human or marine life.
