Welcome to Kalimera Cottage!
This is a comfortable, clean and peaceful one-bedroom studio apartment less than a mile away from the beach in the heart of Kill Devil Hills.
I’m Katie and my husband Scott and I are your hosts.
This guest home offers a private, newly refreshed and chic stay. Less than 1 mile to the ocean and Avalon Pier. Only 1/2 mile to the Avalon Beach Boat Access ( a great place to watch the sunset) and access to walk along the sound on Bay Drive. There is a entirely supplied kitchen with complete range/oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot and toaster oven and BBQ area. It has silverware and pots/pans for you to use during your stay, including basics such as oil, salt and pepper, various condiments, coffee and tea. It has a full bathroom with full bath; shampoo, conditioner and shower gel are supplied.
The living area has a intelligent T.V. and sitting chair. We do not have cable, but wifi is strong. There is a cozy queen bed to rest after a day at the beach. Linens and bath towels included for you, as well as beach towels and set of beach chairs for your stay. We also have a private, enclosed outdoor shower to rinse off after soaking up the sun and sand while appreciating all the beach has to offer.
About the Area
Located in Kill Devil Hills, this apartment is near the beach. Wright Brothers National Memorial and Roanoke Marshes Lighthouse are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Outer Banks Beaches and Nags Head Woods Preserve. Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf and Paradise Fun Park are also worth visiting.
