Are you ready for your Salt Spray, oceanfront vacation? Take a dip in your own private pool or hang out underneath the carport. Stare up at the starry sky as you relax in your own private hot tub. There is an outdoor shower for you to use to clean up before going inside. For the grille masters of the group, they will appreciate the gas grille included. There is an elevator here to help carry your items up. (Please note that the elevator reaches up to the third level, with the fourth level effortlessly accessible by stairs.)
On the second level, challenge your friends to a game of pool or arcade and savor libations from the wet bar. If you'd rather read your favorite book, savor the sitting area on this level. As far as sleeping accommodations go, you can choose between the King En Suite with its own private bathroom and deck access, the King Bedroom, or the double Bunk Bedroom. Those two rooms share a full bathroom that is located in the hallway. There are two deck access off of the recreation room. Step outside and enjoy the view! It doesn't get any better than this.
Up on the third level is where memories are sure to be created! Look out the vast windows and catch a glimpse of the Atlantic Ocean staring at you. Feel complimentary to open a window to catch some breezes off the beach. On this level, you will find a full, modern kitchen with bar stool seating, a half bathroom, and a comfortable great room with an electric fireplace. There is a dining table to enjoy a great meal together or play your favorite board games. Venture out onto the outdoor deck and enjoy your favorite drink while you listen to the outdoor sounds of the Outer Banks. Who gets to enjoy the King En Suite with deck access? There is one of those on this level as well.
Your group will have to draw straws to determine who gets to sleep on the fourth level. Up here is its own King En Suite with deck access which faces the ocean. With this kind of privacy and the view, whoever stays up here is not going to want to leave!
When it is time to go to the beach, there is a private beach walkway for the entire oceanfront community to use. You will find bench seating and a gazebo as you walk towards the ocean. The view from the top of the steps never gets old.
Located in the heart of Kill Devil Hills, you will be close to the Wright Brothers National Memorial, local stores, eateries, and attractions, ensuring an memorable hideaway at Salt Spray!

**Exclusive Umbrella Services from Farmdog Beach Services: (05/01/25 - 09/28/25). This home receives daily oceanfront umbrella and beach chair setup + breakdown services during your stay. No need to lug around your beach equipment when you stay at this home! Service includes (1) umbrella and (4) beach chairs. Setup hours are 10am to 5pm daily (except check-in day), weather permitting. This service is subject to local ordinances. Cabana service is supplied by Farmdog Beach Services. Additional add-on services are available upon request for an additional charge.**
**Want added comfort? Consider adding the Heated Pool option! A Heated Pool option can be added upon request for $100 per nighttime of your reservation. This fee is added to your reservation at the time of the request, which must be a minimum of 72 hours before arrival. Pool heat must be added for the entirety of your stay.
This pool is heated by a heat pump. An ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 80 degrees.**
**Private heated pool will open on March 29th and close on November 1st. Hot tubs are open all year. Pools and hot tubs are cleaned weekly and no later than 6 p.m. on check-in day. Vendors are subject to enter the backyard to clean the pool and/or spa on scheduled cleaning days. No family pets allowed in pools.**
**Salt Spray is pet-friendly, so there is no need to leave your pooch at home! For a modest one-time fee of $185, you can bring up to two dogs to our pet-friendly property. No cats or other animals, dogs only. **

Located in Kill Devil Hills, this vacation home is on the waterfront. Jennette's Pier and Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Stop-N-Shop Beach Shop and Destination Fun. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at Kill Devil Hills restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months.
- Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Some property managers offer discounts for veterans. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your group.
- Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. - At departure, take a walk-through to make sure you did not forget any personal items. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Walk through the rental a final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, remember to take photographs of the property to record its condition at check-out.
