As you pull into the Devonshire Place neighborhood, part of the Bermuda Bay community, you may wonder if you took a wrong turn somewhere and have ended up on a Caribbean island. The vibrant hues of the homes and the pool in the community are bright and cheerful and create a awesome first impression of your vacation home.

Every member of the family can find something to appreciate here-- even your pet! The Bermuda Bay community is widely known for appreciating sunset viewing and peaceful visiting. The exclusive amenities available to you as a guest of this fabulous resort include a lazy river, shining pools, a fun splash pad with various water features tons of fun toys, and plenty of sun loungers for calming. The Elbow Beach Clubhouse includes a exercise center, lounge area, pool table, and a full bathroom for guest use. The clubhouse and exercise center are open year-round from 7:00am to 9:00pm. The Bay has a pier ideal for fishing, launching kayaks, or just enjoying the view.

If you're longing to feel the sand in your toes and simply must visit the beach, it's a very convenient 1.1-mile drive from the Bermuda Bay communities to the gorgeous Kill Devil Hills beaches. Your colorful vacation accommodations at Purple Palace will brighten both your day and your spirits! Here, you will savor a true rarity on the Outer Banks - your own private garage! In addition, your three-story home features a fenced courtyard, comfortable furnishings and plenty of thoughtful touches.

As you enter through the front door, you find yourself in the cozy living room outfitted with seating for 6, a flat screen-TV and a unique double-sided fireplace. Step through to a bright kitchen with tile floors and plenty of cabinets and counter space. The dining area features handsome wood floors and seating for 6. The other side of the fireplace is ideally located between kitchen and dining rooms.

On the second level are the bedrooms. The King En Suite has a handsome sitting area with a chaise lounge and access to a deck. What a ideal spot for reading a few pages in your book or losing yourself in peaceful thought. A Queen bedroom and bedroom with two Twins share a Jack 'n Jill style bath.

Have some fun in the third level loft area with seating for 5, flat screen TV, foosball table, and Roll and Score game (similar to Skeeball). The kids will feel like they've got their own private hideaway with slanted ceilings and the feeling of "away from it all".

Purple Palace is pet-friendly, so there is no need to leave your pooch at home! For a modest one-time fee of $135, you can bring up to two dogs to our pet-friendly property. No cats or other animals, dogs only.

**Private outdoor community pools and/or waterpark play areas are available, weather permitting, beginning on weekends only (Friday to Sunday) May 2 to May 18. Beginning May 23, the pool will be open daily and close on October 1 for the season. Please know that pool operating dates are subject to change at any point, for any reason.**

Check-In begins at 4pm. Your keyless entry code will begin granting access at this time.
Check-Out is 10am.

About the Area

Located in Kill Devil Hills, this vacation home is near the beach.
