A lifeguard stand is located right at this beach access for tranquility of mind when swimming! The beach is typically less busy as there is no public parking close by. The outside shower with changing room is a new addition in 2022. There are 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The laundry room has both a washer and dryer (dryer new in 2022). There is also plenty of clothesline if you prefer to have the ocean breeze do the drying. You do need to bring your own sheets and bath towels. We wash the bed pads & pillow protectors and check the bungalow to verify that it is clean between each renter. We do not charge a cleaning fee, therefore, renters are expected to clean behind themselves when leaving. All costs listed in your booking go 100% to Vacation Rental By Owner.

Strategies for getting the perfect vacation home experience:
When to go & When to reserve a Kill Devil Hills rental home:
- Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Summer months are high season in the Kill Devil Hills area. To find the best value, consider shifting your group's vacation week to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer great weather, , and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Kill Devil Hills vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
- Some property management companies offer rate reductions for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if discounts are available for your family before you book.
- Property management companies typically offer their guests an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which generally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
- Often, management companies and vacation rental houses supply Kill Devil Hills area visitor guides which include money-saving deals, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a relationship with the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Kill Devil Hills area magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

- Do your family pets travel with you? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your agreement! Additional pet fees or may be applied to your contract.
- If there's a particular Kill Devil Hills beach you long to visit, keep an eye out for rentals that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your desires.

- Respecting quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You'll enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors can be a terrific resource to find the best local spots.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
- Just before checking out, complete a walk-through to make sure you haven't forget any personal items. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Please make sure to walk through the property one final time and keep an eye out for damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the manager is not available, take pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- After your trip, leave feedback! Property owners rely on great ratings to propel future reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback.
