Located directly on the beach in the heart of Kill Devil Hills, the property features a humongous ocean-front deck equipped with plenty of seating for sunrise viewing, calming, dolphin or bird watching, and outside dining. The west side deck, with a table and seating, offers vistas of impressive sunsets and the Wright Brothers Memorial. The second bedroom has its own private deck overlooking the ocean, all ideal for relaxation, reading, or meditation.

Meticulously maintained, you will find yourself in a true beach getaway. Vistas abound from the many windows that provide an abundance of natural light. Once inside, the open floor plan and cathedral ceilings will make you feel you are in a much bigger place. The enormous living room, dining area, and Ocean Room provide plenty of space to spread out and take in the marvelous vistas. The property features granite counters, vanity and wet bar tops, newly remodeled bathrooms with delightfully tiled walk-in showers, a entirely outfitted kitchen for those who like to prepare, and is decorated with plenty of local art to give you the real beach feeling. The brand-new HVAC system and multiple ceiling fans will ensure your comfort while inside. The property also includes Hi-speed Internet, three TVs (two of them Intelligent TVs), DVD players, a stereo system, and plenty of games, DVDs, puzzles, and books for those days or nights when you want to relax inside or on the decks. Boogie boards, kites, frisbees, and other beach toys can be found in the beach box on the deck to help boost your fun in the surf and sand.

A newly installed cargo lift will assist you with getting your bags and other belongings to the top floor, ensuring a smooth and painless entry and exit to your beach vacation. Outdoor showers will help you clean off when returning from the beach, either from a day of sunbathing, beach walks to Avalon Pier, or shell hunting.

Need provisions? A full-service grocery store is less than a half-mile away. Want to dine out? Some of the OBX’s most iconic eateries (Goombay's, The Jolly Roger, and Awful Arthurs) are all within a mile, with Goombay's directly across the street. Many other eateries are a short distance away as are thrift stores, beach stores, a movie theater, or the Wright Brothers Memorial National Park.
