This semi-oceanfront bungalow has all of the old-world charms that you would expect and so much more. The updates and updates have been done with such great care so that not to forget the Outer Banks of years past. From the moment you drive up to "Beach Front Cottage, you are instantly greeted with the bright & cheery yellow exterior. The ocean-facing front porch has plenty of seating and is a great spot for taking in "everything" Outer Banks. From the sound of the crashing waves to the salty smell of the air, it may be hard to get past the front porch. Upon walking into the bungalow, it is evident that this home has been the backdrop for family vacations for generations yet, it has been attractively refreshed to include all of the modern amenities that you could ask for and more. Walking into the living room, the old-world exposed beams and wood paneling are in stark contrast to the modern, yet comfortable furnishings and updated electronics that you would expect in a home constructed today. The kitchen is made for entertaining with plenty of seating at the bar and the table, so everybody can be part of the fun. The delicate mix of rustic Outer Banks appeal and modern coastal decor is in ideal balance in all of the bedrooms and bathrooms. The bedrooms are roomy and well-appointed. The rustic feel comes to a halt upon walking out of the back door. This space is one for coastal magazines with plenty of room for calming and relaxing by the private pool. The hot tub is located in the corner of the yard so that it is private and out of the way.

The main attraction (the BEACH) is only a fast walk from the front porch. To make it even more convenient, there is a sizable beach cart, so you take everything to the beach in one trip! Crashing waves, salty air, and the sun warming your skin are the things that great vacations are made of. Kill Devil Hills is known for some of the best dining, shopping, and historical sites, some walking distance away. Appreciate Goombay's Raw Bar and Grille for magnificant drinks after a day at the beach or an afternoon at the pool. Beachside Bistro always delivers a great meal at any time of the day!
