Just a short drive to the beaches of Kill Devil Hills, you will find Sound Jewel the ideal vacation getaway for water lovers, sunset seekers, and everybody in between!

The top level open floor plan and living area is filled with sunlight and sound vistas, complete with a huge flat screen TV, a desk for remote working or learning, and even a constructed-in dog crate! Fresh, filtered tap water is available via a dedicated faucet at the kitchen sink, as well as through the refrigerator tap water and icemaking system. Steam crabs caught right off the dock, and appreciate dinner with a view in the dining area with seating for 8. Step out onto the deck overlooking the backyard to take in the vistas or watch your 4-legged friend run around and savor their Outer Banks vacation, too!

As Colington Island is in the heart of Kill Devil Hills, you’ll have painless access to a wide array of eateries, grocery stores, and shopping opportunities, as well as many attractions and guest destinations, like the Wright Brothers Memorial. Just a short 10-15 min. drive down Colington Road is the Ocean Bay Blvd. public beach access, the main location for Kill Devil Hills Ocean Rescue, offering handicapped beach access, public parking, and bathrooms.
