Savor your Outer Banks vacation in this magnificent beach home! Located on a enormous corner lot, Flip Flops 'N' Bikini Tops is only one block from a beach access. From the top deck you can see the ocean, so be sure to kick back, relax, and take in a handsome sunrise. Located in the heart of Kill Devil Hills, you’ll be close to local eateries, stores, and attractions. Captain George’s Seafood Restaurant is only a few blocks away and the Stop N Shop, which has everything from a sandwich shop to clothing, is just down the street.

Flip Flops 'N' Bikini Tops has 2 convenient en suites on the mid level. The first offers a king bed and a sliding glass door that leads out to the mid level deck. The other is the ideal getaway for the kids with a bunk bed and a pyramid bunk bed. The queen bedroom on the top level has access to a full hall bath. This home also has a cavernous backyard area, ideal for games of catch.

Passes to the Outer Banks YMCA are included to all guests at Flip Flops 'n' Bikini Tops! Approximately 2.9 miles from this home, the YMCA offers a community outdoor pool, infant wading pool and splash park, as well as an indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, exercise machines and classes, and more. Please note that hours and availability are subject to change. For indoor lap swimming, reservations are required and recommended to be made a week in advance. Outdoor swimming also requires reservations due to the limited capacity allowed.

Top Level: Open concept kitchen, dining area, and living area with a flat screen TV and slider to the deck. Full hall bath (tub/shower combo). Bedroom with queen bed and flat screen TV. Laundry area is located in the queen bedroom.

Located in Kill Devil Hills, this vacation home is by the sea. Wright Brothers National Memorial and Monument to a Century of Flight are local landmarks, and travelers looking to shop may want to visit Outer Banks Mall and Outlets Nags Head. When to visit Kill Devil Hills & When to reserve a rental home:

  • Summer months are high season in Kill Devil Hills. Booking a rental in the Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable homes.
  • Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your family qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer their guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gasoline expenses.
