The other half of the duplex is a pet-friendly vacation rental " Beach Twin B", so there is potential for noise. The front and backyard are shared, so please be respectful. The unit does not have a dishwasher. The closest public beach access is 0.5 miles away, with a traffic light to cross Hwy. All Dare County public beach accesses are complimentary of charge. Stay alert for rip current warnings, beach flags, and other weather-related alerts. Be cautious when walking barefoot—there may be sand spurs in the yard. The landscaping team follows a biweekly schedule—please excuse any noise. The Outer Banks is known for palmetto bugs, which resemble roaches but are harmless. Midge bugs, which resemble mosquitoes, are very common and harmless. A $250 returnable security deposit applies to certain bookings (direct, Vacation Rental By Owner). Please follow the town's peaceful hours: 9 PM to 7 AM. Registered guests only—no additional visitors or overnight guests. Park in the designated area (right side of the driveway). No events, drugs, drama, smoking, vaping, or weed in any form. Sensitive septic—please do not flush “flushable” items. Rinse sand off your feet before coming inside. No open flames, including candles, inside the home. Clean the grille after each use. Report any damages immediately. Check-in and check-out instructions must be followed. Please roll the trash bins to the street on Monday and Thursday evening.

One well-behaved, no/low-shedding dog is allowed (no cats). Add your pup to the booking! A non-returnable pet fee per stay applies. Bring your own pet supplies. Pick up after your dog. Clean your dog's paws to remove sand and dirt before entering. Family Animals are not allowed on beds or furnishings. Do not use home towels for pet needs. If leaving your dog alone, keep them in a crate or cage. Pets are not allowed in the hot tub. Prevent pet-related damage and report any accidents immediately. Extra cleaning or damage may result in additional charges. Be aware that the yard is not fenced and is shared with the other pet-friendly unit, "Beach Twin B". For everybody’s safety, dogs must be kept on a leash at all times.

The hot tub accommodates up to 4 people. Kids under 16 must be supervised, and no family pets are allowed in the hot tub. Do not use under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or certain medications. Avoid use if sick, pregnant, or with health concerns. Rinse sand off your feet before coming inside. Do not use if the temperature reads above 104°F. Limit soak time to 15–20 mins. for health reasons. Turn off jets and exit if feeling dizzy or overheated. No diving, jumping, or rough play. No soap, bubbles, or bath products. Close and secure the cover after each use. The hot tub is cleaned and chemically checked between stays.

Check-out is no later than 10 AM. If you brought a dog, please check the yard for any waste. Strip the beds and place all used linens and towels in a pile. Take the duvet cover off the duvet and place it in the same pile. Gather all trash into the home trash can. Wash any used dishes before departure. If you used the grille, please clean it. Log out of any personal apps on the TV. Turn off all appliances and lights, and be sure to lock the door. Send us a message as soon as you depart.
