LA DOLCE VITA - private home, peaceful block, short walk to beach!
Discover what the hype is about! The OBX is an east coast gem, ideal vacation destination for families looking to make forever memories. The min. you cross over the bridge, you know you’ve been transported away from the daily grind. Kill Devil Hills is centrally located with simple access to southern points like Nags Head, Manteo and Ocracoke Island.
This private home features 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, attractively appointed, and located on a peaceful dead-end street, just two blocks from beach access. Plenty of parking, close to many amenities including supermarkets, eateries, mini-golf, a movie theater and local attractions such as Avalon Pier and Jockey Ridge.
Ground level entrance has a laundry room, drink refrigerator, utility sink, access to the garage, and access to the back door/yard. Hang up your stuff, kick off your shoes and head on up.
On the main level you’ll find a comfortable living room with 65” flat screen, access to the front porch with additional dining room space. Inside dining area comfortably seats 6 (4 additional folding chairs are stored in the closet). Two bedrooms include one queen bed and two full beds, and the main level full bath.
The second level has another queen bedroom and a sizable master with a king bed and a private loft area / reading nook via spiral staircase. This bedroom includes a balcony with seating as well as an en suite bath with a garden soaking tub and double sink vanity.
The kitchen is well-equipped with cookware, bakeware, silverware - everything you’ll need to whip up a delicious breakfast or family dinner. If you appreciate coffee, we’ve got a drip maker, a mini Keurig and a French press. We have both a gas grille and a park/charcoal grille.
Unwind in our private fenced in backyard, calming around the fire pit, appreciating the hot tub, or catching a little shade under the pergola. Play corn hole or take the beach cruisers for a ride around the neighborhood. In the garage you’ll find some beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and beach cart for your use.
All bedrooms feature flat screen TV's with Spectrum basic cable and Roku for you to access your Netflix, Amazon, or Hulu accounts. Wi-Fi access supplied. Family-friendly touches such as retractable infant gate on main floor, back door alarm, and a pack-n-play.
Fresh bed linens (fitted & flat sheet, pillowcases, cotton blanket and comforter), as well as bath linens (bath towel, hand towel and washcloth - 1 set per guest) will be included.
About the Area
Located in Kill Devil Hills, this vacation home is by the sea. Glazin' Go-Nuts and Wright Brothers National Memorial are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Monument to a Century of Flight and Roanoke Marshes Lighthouse. Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf and Paradise Fun Park are also worth visiting. Take an opportunity to explore the area for water adventures such as fishing.

Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
