Local attractions so close you can see them from the dune deck: Wright Brothers memorial, Nags head Woods nature Preserve, Nags Head Fishing Pier to the south and Avalon Fishing Pier to the north. Also close by are, Jockey's Ridge and Jeanette's Pier.
