Thoughtfully furnished with a few sturdy antiques and modern amenities like an Echo dot, it's ideal for two. Comfy chairs at the dining table provide a place to relax with a book or computer when you're not eating. Chill with the 40' flat screen tv (Roku + Hulu + Netflix + more) in the bedroom with queen bed and charging stations for all of your devices. Less expensive than a motel and more private, the Studio has just enough kitchen (sink, modest refrigerator, micro, Keurig single-cup coffeemaker, induction burner and toaster/convection oven) to prepare a little supper and plenty of room to unpack and relax.

Your private patio is on the back of the home and sports a sectional couch, a gas grille (gas supplied), a hot tub and H/C outdoor shower.

All linens are included and are laundered with hypo-allergenic/scent complimentary products. We also supply toilet paper, soap, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel for your convenience. In consideration of future guests, air frying is not allowed in the Studio. There is a table on the patio with an outlet next to it that may be used for using your Air Fryer. An additional cleaning charge must be applied if air frying has occurred inside.

This is the separate ground floor apartment in our home and we live and work upstairs, so we'll be sharing an ordinary home without any special soundproofing. We have supplied an air purifier in the bedroom that works as a white noise machine, as well. We make additional efforts to be peaceful early and late and hope you will, too.

Our top Kill Devil Hills rental property booking tips:

When to book & When to go:

  • Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families book their Summer vacations during Winter holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer months are high season in Kill Devil Hills. To find the best value, consider shifting your vacation dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer warmer temperatures, , and reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Kill Devil Hills vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Property management companies often offer renters an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for specifics.
  • Many property management companies supply Kill Devil Hills area travel guide magazines which will include special deals, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Choosing the best vacation home in the Kill Devil Hills area:

  • Start by choosing your vacation dates and a max budget.
  • Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. Studio Sea • Private hot tub! has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Kill Devil Hills rentals search.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is commonly available online. Otherwise, contact the host before you reserve the home. Note that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds.
  • If your group is traveling with pets, filter your search for a property that allows animals. Ask for specifics on breed, size, and type restrictions. Some hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.
  • Does your group require special amenities? Most websites include search filters for amenities.
  • Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Remember to confirm all required amenities are available before reserving a rental

More tips for your visit:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Take a printed copy, and save the directions to your phone.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, intercom or appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents lots of concerns.
  • Protect the owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home when you are out, just like you would at home.
  • During check-in, document any damages to the rental property and immediately alert the host. Keep records of all coorespondence.
  • Be respectful. Frequently, surrounding homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Double-check the property to confirm that you've packed everything at check-out. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did you have a excellent stay? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for customers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or property manager was wonderful, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was out of order and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
