Unlike most other listings, we do not exaggerate our location to the beach. :) The Atlantic Ocean is two blocks East. The home is only 0.2 miles (north to First St) or 0.3 miles (south to Asheville Dr) to beach access. Walkable or bicycle-able! Both Beach Access's have parking and showers to rinse off and port-a-pottys.

We are a pet friendly home. There is a $75.00 non-returnable pet fee PER PET. Up to three (3) family pets max.: $225.00.

We adore pets just as much as anyone, but please refrain from accepting pets on the furnishings and beds. Excessive pet hair will require an additional cleaning fee.

All electronic items and beach supplies, including but not limited to, TV, Blu-ray/DVD player, cable TV, wifi access, beach cart, & beach chairs are maintained for the guests use but are not guaranteed. Owner reserves the right to substitute, change, replace or take out of service any nonworking units without repercussion for doing so.

***After using any of the beach toys/items, it is your (the Renters) responsibility to wash and wipe them clean of all SAND and SALT WATER after each use everyday and replace into shed and lock the shed. If you track sand into the shed, please sweep it out with the broom and dust pan included!***

When to visit Kill Devil Hills & When to book:

  • Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • To get the most suitable rental for your budget, we suggest booking in Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular Kill Devil Hills attractions. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Kill Devil Hills vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Booking websites frequently offer customers an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses.
