Freshly refreshed bungalow. 4-min. walk to beach. 4 BR, 6 beds with Green Tea beds (King, Queen, Full, 3 Twin) & crib. Enclosed porch; open deck. Huge yard with Big Green Egg & fish-cleaning table. 1.5 bath & BIG indoor shower below + pet crate & play yard; beach gear, bicycles, cornhole, kites; high chair, stroller; 2nd Roku & seating; washer/dryer. Walk to Splash Pad, Duck Donuts, Publix, Goombays; drive .7 mi. to Wright Bros. nat'l park., 1.3 to pier, 2.4 to disc golf, 3.4 to nature trails.
The space
Constructed in 1967, this kid-friendly bungalow had been in the same family until its June 2023 sale. Called a "home away from home" by its very first guests, the property includes tons of reading materials, games, cookware, beach gear, and infant items, and dog supplies to welcome families to its four bedrooms with six beds plus crib.
Guest access
The top level of the home is the living space. Four bedrooms -- each sharing a bath or half-bath -- flank the living room and kitchen. Adjoining enclosed front porch increases living space. Guests also have access to the back half of the lower level for their laundry, beach shower, video gaming, and huge-item storage needs. There they will find adult bicycles, beach cart, umbrellas, tent, canopy, chairs, cornhole, soccer ball, dog crate and play yard as well as tons of kids's beach buckets, sand sifters, shovels, etc. Front half of lower level is restricted to owners' storage.
Other things to note
Jimmy's Place is pet friendly to dogs, but the owner is allergic to cats, so please do not bring your feline companions. A sizable crate and a play yard are supplied for your downstairs use if your pup or pups do not accompany you when you leave the bungalow.

About the Area

This vacation home is located in Kill Devil Hills. Wright Brothers National Memorial and Glazin' Go-Nuts are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Roanoke Marshes Lighthouse and Island Farm. Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf and Stop-N-Shop Beach Shop are also worth visiting.
